Take the co2 cartridge out after use. Never store it with one in, even an empty. That will help dramatically. I killed a co2 bb repeater that way >.> I'm sure there are other things, but thats the only one I know

you'll probably go through more then one cartridge per game day. So no, I don't thin that'll hurt it. its kinda what they're designed to do. its long term storage with them in that cause extra wear on th seal, and thus wears them out.
