I think if we started hosting blank fire/airsoft games up at icehouse we could get a lot more activity. I recently attended Milsim West and I have to say...they are doing it right. It's essentially a military FTX with airsoft guns and blanks. I know the blank fire initially sounds sketchy but it isn't if the right people are in charge and pre-approval standards are met. This is something I'm definitely interested in getting started here in NorCal. We are near the kind of land to do it, and NO ONE else is doing it (except MSW primarily in WA).

how does the blank fire work when it comes to kills?

20' engagement, more of a courtesy than requirement. It's used to add to the environment and force players to take cover. However, if you see a blank fire with his sights on you, and your within 50', and not behind any cover...you should give him the kill.

Johnnie and I played in a WWII game in Fraizer Park with the Socal WWII guys....it was WAY more realiztic.....cover = life...
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.
Nice, I like that Blain.. motors add a huge dynamic to the game too. You never want to stay in an area long or your whole team can get wiped out.
