Direct me to a good store that might have info. And the rules, the section on the website i feel doednt cover everything so wherr should i go?

Airsoft Extreme is the only store I'm aware of in the Sacramento region. Some fields around here are Ukau's, West Coast Adventure Park, CQB City, Airsoft Ministry, and Outlaws (Action) Recreational Park. If there's any more do let me know. There are also games hosted by sacair!

What about if i was lookin for something smaller to start out with? Will definitly attend that but what to do in between months? Whereare other feilds? And what do you suggest as a beginning rifle. I was thinking m4.

Those are (I believe) the only fields. To start out small, Airsoft Ministry would be your best bet. An M4 platform is a good starter, since there's so much available for them. What's your gun budget? It'll help eliminate brands and so on.

Im an apocalypse kinda guy, so ive thrown probably $3k over a year into my bug out stuff and wearable gear. So im willing to put $800 into a gun i could take pride in.

Gas blow back rifle or aeg?

Whats the differnce?

Basically green gas powers a gas blow back rifle, its a lot more expensive to set up, and every magazine holds fewer rounds (50ish). A polarstar (forgot to mention it) runs off of high pressurized air like a paintball gun would, but is also extremely more expensive. And an AEG (All electric gun) runs off a battery is what 99% of people use, and its the fastest way to get started.

Is that gun gas or aeg? And any ideas for my helmet problem?

Still got questions.. please help lol

Woops sorry forgot to mention the helmet. Yeah that's an AEG. What camo are you currently using in regards to the helmet and loadout all together?

I have a full swat uniform now, which involves the helmet, i just got my goggles and face mask in and hey kinda cover my ears but not very much. I also have a woodland get up but with a full head cover mask.

That gun isn't full metal if it matters to you. The only thing I'd worry about is whether or not the gearbox is or isn't. Nylon gears aren't very reliable... With an $800 budget and two loadouts possible you could get an MP5K for swat and an M4 style gun for your woodland.

I have a helmet, i just need ear protection for it. When i get home i will take a picture and show you. The face mask and goggles partially covers my ears but i dont think it covers enough, thats what im concerned about

You probably just need a v2 mask so it'll cover your ears.

Is there anything special that i need aside, gear, gun? Im ganna have a small backpack with lil survival essatials and medical stuff just in case. I think i need a speed loader maybe, anything else?
Sep 5, 2015 9:24pm
Speed loader for sure. There's really no need for survival essentials, just extra weight but that's up to you. A gun and gear is all of it.

With 800$ you could easily build 2 good guns. If you want my opinion do what you did you and get an AEG (auto Electric Gun). Get around 10 mid cap magazines of a good brand like MAG. If you really need an optic get a cheap one from evike. You don't need a 400$ eotech on a gun that can shoot 250 feet plus I know a few people that have lost their very pricey optics to a BB. Second, buy a GBB (gas blow back) hand gun. I highly recommend the brand Tokyo Mauri. They make some very good AEGS and GBB Hand guns, they run on something called Green Gas and HFC 134. Depending on what model you get and what the guys at AEX say you may want to investigate which gas you use. Get a few mags for it and bam you have all that you need to play. As for safety gear and bug out gear, meh. I wear a classic Army battle mask or something like that. I also use some hearing thingy that amplify sounds but I am also deaf as hell so I wear those so I can hear people. Make sure what ever eye protection you get is ANSI rated for impact. You don't really need all that cool guy gear to have fun. Just a gun or two and some eye protection. Airsoft Ministries is a good beginner field. They play on Saturdays I think. I don't play much because of other things so I can not say for the other field. I know Ukaus is also good but it has been years since I have been out there.

another idea if youre into WW2 gear for $800 you could get a good reproduction ww2 impression going, theres alot of nice ww2 guns on the market now for $200 or less, just a thought.
