this isnt about a charger but it seemed to fit in with the topic...im also getting my first aeg and i was wondering if it's absolutly necessary to get a battery discharger

depends on the battery Nicd - yes, Nimh - no

Battery:nihm because it takes less care than a Nicad,as to discharging and such.

ever got a hold of a p90?

no i never found a P90 but i bought a CA MP5SD6 with a high cap and two batteries on ebay that should get here next week. Only thing is its had some barrel work cuz the guy didn't like the silencer on it so it doesn't fit anymore. That and after i bought it i saw the SL9 kit for the G36 (i had see the SL9 they have at AEX but couldnt' afford it but def loved the gun and didnt' know it was a G36 variant). Now i'm wondering if maybe i'd be able to trade the MP5 for a G36 and just get the kit eventually and upgrade the interals. It seems to me that a G36 with the SL9 kit i could use it for CBQ and woodland sniper by just taking the kit on and off....or is that not possible?
