I'm thinking of getting ready to start a gun project. W/ both external and internal upgrades. I was thinking of using the TM HK 51 or an AK.as the base gun. Any ideas on if either is a good gun to work with. probably take it to about 350 fps and end up with a good solid gun.
my vote is for the HK 51. I think it would be solid in the end and I would have a sister for my SG-1. :shock:
Take your pick. Both good guns. The AK is way more solid, though. You saw mine. It weighs in at 9 lbs. and I can use it to pry open doors...
You can go for something like this? This is my project gun, still working on internals.

Hmm...THats accually a good price for that baby.....Now that I was looking at it,I wanted to use my sg-1 as a sniper,and a machine gun.So,if I get the msg90 grip,that would mean I wouldnt have a front sight..Damn these temptations! :lol:
