how should i paint my kjw full metal slide black. i have flat black spraypaint that i can use. last time i painted it the paint just chiped off. so should i sand the frame and then paint it or what sholuld i do?
Use 400 grit sandpaper to sand the slide. It takes off the black under the orange without scratching up the mettle of the slide.
Or, after you rough it up like suggested, you can lay a coat of black primer on the slide before you paint it. I've found that primer makes a big difference when you're trying to get paint to stick.
I have painted metal minatures for quite a few yesrs now... don't know how well this will apply but here it goes. Neo's primer idea is a very good one, you need a good surface for the paint to adhere too first, after primer and paint try this stuff...
also try using krylon paint, that stuff sticks really well.
What's a signature?
well the kjw slide is the crome slide i dont know if that makes a difference. but ill go ahead and use the primer and then paint it with the flat black. ive just got to get some primer and mabey some different sand paper.
My brother is Anthony Casavecchia, he ran track this year. I tried to get him into rugby but he never took. Though i highly reccomend it cuz its great fun.
Use Krylon Paint bro.....It woks the best,I think
