Any idea where to get the supplies?... a buddy of mine was actually looking to make his own sling but isn't sure where to get the stuff. They'd be cake to make

The best place to get supplies for a one point sling is any army navy store they sell parachute cord. At norca army navy it sells for 3.99 for 50 ft. all you need is parachute cord and a carabeener and your set.

You can use the stuff they use to make those belts that wanna-be asian gansters wear that have metal buckles that spell out ASIAN...Its only like 2 bucks,and the buckles you can get off mostly anything...
