Hey what are the most popular scopes, not brand but description like 3X9 40, or 4X30 or red dot sights. Any help would be appreciated...Thnx
Depends on who you are. If you're Ray or Craig, you get yourself an EOTech or Aimpoint on your M4. If you're Shawn, you get yourself a 3-9x40 on an APS-2. If you're me, you just grab whatever gun and eyeball it and pull the trigger a few times in semi-auto until you hit (or miss) something. If you're Glenn or Erik, you get yourself a boxmag and point your gun in a general direction and hold down the trigger until someone calls hit.
Red dots make the most effective scopes on AEGs. Quick targetting, and both eyes open for greater visability. Magnifying scopes are really only useful for sniping, and in my opinion, you dont need more than a 2x-5x.
i must say that g & p acog (4x zoom) was really useful in places like fort ord, where you needed to watch movements of the opposing team and or see confirmed kills.

I have a 3-9x44,andit works great.I only keep it at 3-5 because the bb probably wont travel further..Red dots are easier/faster to aim at your enemy...
