A lot of mistakes were learned from the last "all day" event.

I personally think we should just try and make our regular game days more interesting with more objective related missions and such. It would make everyone happy. I would help out in any way I could.

I like your idea mike, but i think it would be cool if you actually had to guard your camp with a couple people patroling and stuff and the other team could come and try to raid it :D

if you guys want to build props i have all sorts of odd shit laying around the shop we can use.

lol, I know no one here knows who the hell I am, but my names Ferguson, I'm a ww2 re-enactor or well lets say Ex(re-enactor). I had talked with shawn via email getting some tips and q&a, and today I finally went to Fortress Hobbies, talked to some really nice guys, one of which was getting an M4 upgraded. I'm suppose to go back next Monday 8th and pick up my gun.

This sounds like a very good idea, only problem being that it'll bee difficult to get every one to pay attention. I for one would be willing to give it a shot. I've been at CP for other one off scenarios that went okay, but the old standards seem to be the norm. As long as everybody actually tries to complete thet objective, control the bridge, get the intel etc, etc. The last sac event I went to was Fort Ord, which was great, but if we could get the same organization, then it would be fun, not just idiots running around itching to pull the trigger. We should give it a shot.8)

What about an all night event? Ever been done?

i would do that, but not possible at cp i would think

damn, that war renactment stuff sounds cool- only problem is, about half the people would understand wats going on, others just wanna shoot. An all night even in this kinda weather would suck balls, summer time might work, or at least until dinner time. We end way too early in the summer, stays light for hours after, but some people do have lives unlike us seriously obsessed mofo's. Intricate scenario's rule- i am in

that would be awsome and fun like attack the whole day and retriet and attack .....that would be awsome ....they should have camps to like tents and stuff and have people take turns in guarding the camp that would be awsome

I do agree with others though, old posts especially 4 years old should be closed/locked and archived. The topic shouldn't allow people to open/discuss it again. Just my 2 cents.

yeah that sounds really good..but what would we use for modern combat..just cars and trucks? and where would this be held at ? cp? whats cp?
