I have a TM G3 SAS with a version 2 gear box. I used a Systema M100 and metal bushings which got me real close to 350fps. Depending on the length of the barrel this should do the trick for you too.... this only cost me about $25

Do you know how to open up the gearbox?Cuz if not,you have to pay for instalation, and thats a bitch.Ask your friend. And no,you won't need anything else.

if its a TM eventually(depending on the spring and the amount of use) the stock TM gears are going to go. i would get the kit givonovich said and replace the gears when you have the money or the need(I.E. when they break)

I believe an M100 or M110 will do you fine and it should last you a while. Depending on how you shoot, all gears/pistons go out eventually.

What's the gun you're pulling the gearbox from?

It all depends on how you shoot. I had a TM G36 all stock and that sucker lasted I would say at least 30,000 rounds till the gears gave out. My girlfriend has a G3SAS and I changed the spring and bushings using an M100 and it's lasted at least 5,000 rounds so far.
