Move over Safariland 6004 and Blackhawk CQC. Paul (Chairborn_Ranger) has one of these and has made me covetous for one...

The only problem I can see is that they aren't available for as wide a range as other holsters
Meet every day like a swift kick to the groin

Now I must say I have never had a 6004 . But I do have a CQC for all of my pistols . Also got the drop leg attachment . Very comfortable and it has rails on it so it makes for a great platform . Had my CQC holsters for a couple of months not and I love them . Got my platfrom about a month ago ...It is also very sweet
And yes, when we're doing our draw, you must have the holster in the same condition as it would normally be in when you carry, which means the retaining loop must be engaged.
There is a screw on the holster by the trigger area wich you can adjust to add/remove tension on the pistol.

Have any of you guys tried the Fobus retention holster? I use one for my g17 and love it.

I love the 6004 for its molded leg platform and is the reason I bought it.
Ray's got the MOVES!

Ya the Ghost's leg platform is molded plastic too. really keeps it in place. I have another thigh hoster without the plastic platform and no matter how tight I cinch it down it always feels like my gun's swinging around when I run.

Mine just came in the mail yesterday. OMFG. Awesome.
