hey, yesturday i got a new battery, same kind as it was befor. a 9.6v 1700 mah nun-chuck. my old one, when it was in my gun, fully charged was chronoing in at 335-351.2 was highest. my new battery is chronoing in at... 415-420, highest and lowest. its a 350 fps upgrade (m100 spring) and i've had it for about 2 months. what i want to know is, how do i get the fps to drop. i love CQB but 420 is a little toooo hot. i've shot around 30 hi-caps out of it. still around 415-420. does this upgrade ever go away?

Uh, doesn't sound right. Try a different chrono. Changing the battery alone should not change velocity by about 60-85 fps.
Ya, I've never heard of a gun's fps going higher due to a battery change, yet alone, it's only an M100 spring. The highest I've seen in my gun with an M100 was 350 fps. Maybe you are using different BBs as in .25g and .20g BBs which could cause a drastic change in fps.

well, i do use .20's, and it is the chrono at AEX. i think they jsut fixed it. my gun is definately tweakie, i jsut really need to shoot it more and wear the spring down i guess?

wow 400+ thats alot for that spring isnt it....
415FPS is around what youd get with a Gaurder SP120 (.20G BB)
