Hey. I gotta question for anyone with an m15a4 ris/spc and experience with working with it and everything. I'm a newb with internals and gun structure so I'd appreciate help.

thanks GP. nice and thorough. However, I was hoping to get a TM m203 cause its cheaper and I'm mainly goin for looks. TM doesn't have a RIS version though so...if anyone could still answer my second question that'd be great.

Hey Snoop. Thanks for the input. But again, I just want the M203 "look". I'm not going for extreme detail or realism. And seeing as how the TM will cost basically 100 dollars less (TM+shell=145, SP+shell=250), I'd really rather go with a TM, be it less functional. I also read your review. You seemed to think it was alright...? That may be because it's two years old. Anyway, question still stands, basically I wanna know if there's anyway to get around dremeling OTHER than just buying the SP m203. Thanks though

I DID do the research. Don't even start to think that I haven't. That TM m203 isn't RIS. It just says that you ARE ABLE TO MOUNT it on an M4a1 OR an M4A1 RIS. If you want to mount that on an m4a1 ris you have to take the lower rail off and mount it in that manner. TM only makes two m203's: the one with an m16 adapter and one with an m4a1/m4a1 ris adapter. Look at the pic again, do you see a ris addpter on that m203 you showed me that looks like the SP m203. Trust me, if I knew a simple solution to this problem I wouldn't be asking. But whatever. Thanks for you help in regards to the other questions though. I'll just see about dremeling the mounting adapter.

the problem with the TM m4a1/ris lancher is that it requires the lower section of the armguards to be removed and to be mounted on the outter barrel. i do not blieve that will work on the CA 1 piece outter barrel,

you'll most likely need to drill a hole onto the ends in the foregrip on the outer barrel to mount the TM M203 on it....holes will be for the attachments for the M203 that TM provides in the kit...
