Basically I have an AKM with a silent piston head and stuff. and now an AKM is not meant to be a quiet gun, so I am looking to get a Aluminum piston and mill it out, and aluminum piston head to make it loud.
LoL Aluminum piston head and a new cylinder head. =) shorten your barrel (inner) alittle.

Like ronnie said. A shorter inner barrel would probly help. Believe it or not, That G3 had a silent set in it
hmm well I am going to try ronnies idea.

Try yell at loud when you shoot your gun...
how long do you think the inner should be? 14 inches maybe?

This is just a thought. I was at Radio Shack and noticed that they had a small kit that built a personal voice recorder. All solid state. It recorded about 20 seconds of voice (or other sounds), and played them back at the touch of a button. I was toying with the idea of putting one in my M15A4 RIS and recording video game M15 machine gun fire and hooking up the playback button to the trigger mechanism. Put a small volume control on it and you have a real sounding AEG, although much softer sounding. I think it would be cool to try. -John

A hollowed out (large) flashhider should help as Kevin suggested, it may not create the "cracking" sound that you want... But hey it'll be louder! LOL
Ray's got the MOVES!
Tuan's suggestion has been the best so far. Yell at the top of your lungs when you fire your gun.
dont we do that anyways? "your hit! you $*#(@&!"
