tappet and or the mechbox isnt sitting properly in the metal body. or at the worst your nozzle doesnt reach the hop chamber.

Im pretty sure the mechbox is fine but the tappet....im not sure. i had it apart last week, the tappet was flexing a lot, i mean it looked like it was almost hitting the bottom of the piston. secondly, there was a little groove warn in it where the knob on the gear first pulls it back. Do they sell metal ones? Someone told me they need to flex(sorry im too lazy to look you up).

I had a Area 1000 Tapet Plate do that (ver. 2) the "groove". Repaced it with a TM one or Guarder. The Area 1000 Tapet Plate that I had was shorter by 1mm (ver. 2) type. Don't know why it was, but it was and that is why mine had a groove cut into it. I have had my share of feeding problems in the past and all were do to misalignment of the hop unit. Man, feed problems are the worst, good luck! I really hope you are able to solve this. I'm sure someone else will jump in here and give some more advice.
