2005 Dangerous Weapons Control Law

so does all this legal stuff mean we cant go out in public, be stupid, mess with cops? like it always has been? or was there some new thing in there?

Looks like SoftairUSA is winning their battle. If they get their way, all airsoft guns will have to have a clear body. (Which, coincidentally, SoftairUSA/3PSA/Cybergun is the only company to sell crappy clear airsoft guns in mass quantity.) Even guns painted with bright colors will not be allowed to be sold if SoftairUSA wins. You can say goodbye to Marui, CA, ICS, G&G, G&P and TOP if they get their way...

wait wait wait. so why is softair pushing for clear guns? do they just want a monopoly on the US market? Even if they win i dont see it being a long term law. because im sure us airsoft guys wont go down without a BIG a$$ fight.

so neo, does that mean that if softair wins that parts will be illegal to sell too? Will AEX be gone completely, and will we be able to get external parts form overseas? Customs doesnt care about trades as long as its not on a gun right? metal bodies, front ends, and all that stuff individually makes it fine. right? or are REALLY going to try to bend us over?

Parts, on their own, are completely legal. What we're talking about here is a complete gun. Nobody will be able to sell a gun unless it has a transparent body on it, which is all SoftairUSA makes now. How convenient.

I didn't read anything new on that...

Actually, it looks kind of like they're saying that airsoft guns are considered "replica" guns unless they're full painted in one of the colors specified. I don't see us using them under any of the reasons they listed. I guess a game can be a certified or regulated sporting event or competition provided it's a Sacair event with admins regulating or something.
