That sniper rifle looks nice too, may have to pic that up. Heck if it does what it says it can do, 100 bucks ain't that bad.
Oct 18, 2005 4:31am
wow,...if you can get the fps up to about 500, im on it before the shotty...
Oct 18, 2005 5:04am
I have to say man UTG has got it goin on. I mean coming out with guns for under 200 bucks. All that remains is to see how durable the guns are, and how they stand up to CA and TM and the others
Oct 18, 2005 5:10am
Yeah, I mean if it holds up to what its boasting, for both guns. Your going to spend like 150 bucks for both. Which is not bad considering people have paid alot more for a side arm.

In a wierd way that shotty looks like the shotgun off of halo :?
Oct 18, 2005 6:31am
Ya in a way i guess i could see the shotty being like the one from halo

Have any of you taken apart a utg MP5 and attempted to upgrade the bushings? I'd like to see if the one I worked on is like all the others.

it would be funnie to find out that utg is really just a division of TM,...like acura is to honda....lol
Oct 18, 2005 9:03pm
Yeah, but they're owned by Leapers.
Oct 18, 2005 9:46pm
The leapers site says the sniper is 300fps.... maybe they decided not to make it 400fps out of the box

Mine was complete opposite. Bushing wouldnt fit and the gear shafts were out of round. BURS ON THEM!!!!

Better tight than loose. It's easier to remove material than to make a bushing stay put. Heh heh heh. The gears on this one were in pretty good shape. Didn't really matter. The owner wanted them replaced with stock TM gears anyways.
