hey- I used to own a g 18c, sold it to Zak, then he had slide problems cuz it was shooting too hard with green gas. I know metal helps reduse this, but since i am looking at another on of these, I was wondering if there is anything else i could do, besides upgrading to metal without reducing the power

Hey dude right now the glock works with green gas because it is so cold outside. During the summer the gas would heat up get hot and it would be too powerful for the slide. So you don't need a metal slide. You can use green in the winter and a less powerful gas in the summer.
