UTG vs Maruzen ca870

Aug 8, 2005 3:30am
I really want to get a CQB shotgun. I was first wanting the Maruzen ca870 CQB shotgun but then i came accross the UTG version of the exact same weapon. I was researching and i could not get a good review of the UTG shotgun. I just want to know... is the quality as good as the Maruzen? Are the internals the same? Since i know that the Maruzen has some sort of "mechbox" inside it that can take aps2 springs. I just want to know if the UTG has this too? any help would be appreciated!

The internal is not the same. Can't upgrade the UTG like the Maruzan can because there is no mechbox inside.

get the maruzen ca870. Though it is more expensive, performance is amazing when properly upgraded. all you need to do is get a tightbore, hop up set (or mod it with wire insulation), a 400 fps spring, and an aps2 piston head (or mod the stock one with an oring) and you'll have a shotty that can float bbs past 200 feet (accurately and consistently if you use the right bb, .28s-.3s are good). upgraded spring guide is optional.
What's a signature?
