Just because I feel like it here's a little essay on my view of Real tacics vs Airsoft...
I will, and anyone else reading, download the Large ops episode.
Cool stuff. Just listened to the LC one. It was especially interesting because I am attending as a Cav. member this year. I didn't know that each crew had a vehicle. Fu ckin horah! Or whatever Cav. is supposed to say. :P
"As I walk throught the valley of the Shadow of Death I have no fear, because I am the meanest mutherf***er in the whole valley."
. A 5.56x45 is still lethal at 1,000 yards, a 7.62x51 Nato will still kill with chest shot at more than twice that.
"And when he gets to Heaven To Saint Peter he will tell: One more soldier reporting, Sir -I've served my time in Hell."
cool, something to listen to as I'm reading forms, and making posts
any chance of a chatroom, or a phone line getting started for this radio broadcast

Our weekly broadcast went off without a hitch despite having our studio engineer out as well as two of our hosts out due to illness. In fact, we even managed to sell out all of our live listener slots... which I guess is not so much of a freak occurrence these days. We talked about how various modern tech gadgets have shaped in-game play and spent a little time going over the pro's and con's of carrying a pistol in-game. Last night's broadcast was a little rough, but we trucked on with the show like the good troopers we are. We talked about the seldom thought of hidden dangers associated with airsoft and even a few of the obvious ones. Our studio engineer Jem was back this week, saving us from the nightmare that is me running the board! If you want all ages to listen you might wont to clean up your show a bit. just a suggestion.......
-insert failed attempt of something funny here-
Last night was our weekly broadcast and what a night it was. We talked to Krusty from Canada about the eastern Canadian airsoft scene and discussed the line of realism in airsoft. Naturally we suffered a few connection issues, but without technical issues, what would this show be? Good? We can't have that now, can we! With all the big games coming up in the spring/summer seasons, we figured it would be good timing to dig up the old "Know Your Roll" series and talk about event staff. We also briefly touched on a few of the unsung heroes of airsoft... a short show with no frills, but still a good one. This week's show featured a surprise call from Eclipse, one of the game honchos working on Operation: Lion Claws VII (http://www.oplionclaws.com). We got a few gold nuggets of what to expect at this year's event and even had a chance to grill him on a few of the hot topics. We also talked about advanced game concepts; how to step up the milsim level of your game on both the personal and community level. A great time was had by all.
