2 way radios....Whatcha got?

Aug 15, 2005 7:14am
First off, I bought myself what appears to be a good pair of radios. This is where and what I got..... http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=3984991&cat=164120&type=19&dept=3944&path=0%3A3944%3A3977%3A164120 And yeah, that would be the price I paid too. I wasn't looking to buy junk.

I use the Motorola Talkabout series as well, they work great with a throat mic but there could be more improvement on clarity. They also use rechargeable battery packs so just charge them the day before and they are ready to go. Small and compact and should fit in any tac vest. I think I left it on one time during a game and they pretty much last a strong 4-6 hours. They have that great vibro action too.... LOL

I have the talkabout 5320. Haven't used it for Airsoft yet, but figured for the price ($30 at Costco) I couldn't go wrong.

So what yer saying Dave, is that I'm breaking the law on channel 15? Am I going to lose sleep in fear of the FCC cops kicking in my door? Will they put me in prison to be Bubba's girl? You know what? Let em. I'm a rebel. I don't need no stinking license! Come and get me FCC!

Funny. We were using frequencies at work that needed licensing by the FCC. One day, the FCC did come knocking on our door?!?!?!
