I was wondering if there was a way to use grenades at games. in WWII we have been useing rubber grenades for years. they are made from a hard rubber and dont hurt if you get hit with one. The rule that we use is a 10' kill zone from were the grenade stops. It is total honor system of taking the hit but it works well . Most of the time your teammates will let you know that you are mush now and to take the hit.... when you lob the grenade you yell out "GRENADE!" to let every one know that one is inbound and to look for were it falls.

Good idea within your own honest group but not with others. You might as well throw water balloons and the water would act like shrapnel. I don't know....

Jeff B.(cant remember his last name) Fron STAC did some good nades. but they were illegal. they were a real upper with spoon and stryker with a black kat that would blow apart a clay or foam body. there is a video floating around somewere of a test fire. ill' try to find it later.
I'm working on a design that would be impact detonated, but it won't look anything like a standard M67.
its goind to be hard to make it CA legal.......ie on explosive....
All components are CA bought and legal.

I want to resurrect this post and throw my support to the use of grenades. As a "former" re-enactor grenades were critical to the success of the mission. They are easy to use, very visible, and can tip the balance of the battle by clearing out static areas of control. Another good thing is they are relatively cheap so losing one wont break you.
I really agree with the use of grenades at SacAirsoft events and I think it will change the whole way we play airsoft. I like using rubber grenades, because they are cheap and easy to use. Grenades will be a great addition to the battlefields.
