i was wondering, does the FAMAS mag fit into the mag well of a m15 or any m4 variant???

I know for a fact that the m16 mag can fit into a famas with modification, and I think that consists of just dremeling a hole into the mag so that mag catch will...well...catch. And I THINK that the famas mag will fit into the m16 with similar modification, but I'd research it a little more before taking my word on it.
