battery question
ok...this is probably a stupid question, but I was wondering if you could fit a 8.4v sub-c batt. pack into an mp5a4? or is a sub-c too big?
"$15 in pocket...food or BB's??? choices choices"
so 7 sub-c's will fit...is that the one they sell at aex for $30?

well i've got a battery that is like a half millimeter too big for my stock....how can i adjust my stock to fit that battery in? i believe its the same size as the "large" classification batteries which should fit into my tm high grade mp5a4 but it doesnt...any help with customizing to fit large batteries is greatly accepted.
Conner, If it is JUST too big to fit it may be the way you are routing your wires at the end. If not, you could trim the plastic bar inside your stock to make some more room.

Li-Po might be a little extreme and expensive for some. But on everything else, listen to the RC car guy! They know their poop.

wheres a good place to get batteries for a decent price that peak charge to the right voltage?
wheres a good place to get batteries for a decent price that peak charge to the right voltage?
well im guessing any hobby store for rc cars will have the right size...im just not sure though.
hobbytown u.s.a. still has 'em i think
Well if you'd like to get batteries that peak properly, then you'd need to get matched packs (each cell is identical to one another, same discharge time to a certain volt, capacity, internal resistance, and blah blah blah). They could run anywhere from around 60 to 130 bucks for a 7 cell pack. It all depends on how good the numbers are.
You may as well go Lithium at prices like that.

[but you will need to atleast up grade the gears if not the go to bearings,...

Very serious man. I had almost everybody doing it at the track. I'm sure everyone at the track would be doing it if they had the right charger.
It's a Competition Electronics T35. Very programable/informative charger. If you cycle a cell or pack on it, it'll give you all the info you need on that pack or cell (discharge rate, Mah, internal resistance, and again, blah blah blah).

how long do i charge a 1800 mah nicad?
"look into my eye"
huh??? i couldn't tell you that cuz I don't use chargers with timers...it also depends on how many amps you are charging it at...but for a 1800 it would be charged at around 4 amps and discharged at 20 amps or less...if that was like a test of me working at a hobby shop...then you should come by and visit :D...I do work with eric and edd...(if anyone here knows them) I even got pics of my stuff if you wanna see it
