We touched on this subject before and I intend to push this one through because our managment team has not met the rate of change our user base has.

Sounds good to me. Who do you have in mind? I can throw in a few suggestions for board moderators. Game admins are a little tougher because they require someone who can keep a level head, but isn't afraid to talk to troublemakers on the field as well.

I dont think we should put up a post in a public forum.. Way to many people will want to become an admin or moderator and it will get old telling people no.

NO!!!! yeah ur right about the public thing. If thats the case, does anyone have any issues about expanding management?

Only that it should be a concensus. Everyone should throw in some input and we should decide accordingly. Game admins should be people who attend games and are very thoughtful about safety, rules and enforcement. Preferably someone who keeps their cool and has a good demeanor/attitude. We can be more flexible about moderators, as they only help keep the board clean.

I am not sure we need mor game admins.

I'll start with BlackIce. I don't know him to well, but from what I can tell he's a very well rounded guy. Goes to pretty much all the games. Voices his opinions in a constructive way and so on.

I've asked a few people to help "ref" at the game on the 4th. These guys seem to be natural leaders. They keep their cool on the field, they're very personable, they can enforce rules and are not afraid to step up to the plate. Some of them are longtime vets on Sacair and others are relatively new, but show great ability in game organization and peacekeeping. BlackIce was one of the people who I felt would do well on the field. These are the people I've asked. I'll change their status as they pm me confirmations. (Which might take a while, since I just pm'd them this morning.)

In light of today's game, I would strongly endorse both BlackIce and Elrand1 to be added as game admins. Both of them worked very hard and were very attentive to the field. They've got the right qualities to keep things on track in the field. Both of them also have some great ideas when it comes to safety and organization. They both carry a great deal of maturity and both of them have a very positive attitude. Both of them were very focused and had a business-like mentality. Neither one of them wasted their time fooling around and they kept the games moving. Although they weren't admins, they put the players first and were willing to give up gameplay to work the field. Additionally, I would like to note that both of them attend games regularly and are very active in the sport.

I don't know who Elrand1 is but I think John would make a great full on Admin.

Next game we have of this size I think it would be a good idea for all admins present to have a little meeting before the first game just to get to know who is who and to discuss what will/might be happening throughout the day.

Any word on this? I want to run a game this Sunday and they would both be a real asset on the field. Well, ok, let me try it this way...

Post a forum in the SacAir Admin section stating the intent in the title.
