hey has anybody ever shot one of these? i like the idea of using a CO2 cartridge instead of green gas, but Iâve never heard of an airsoft using them. i love my Crossman ppk co2 gun but it is definitely no airsoft (copper bb's, shoots through a shoebox and 2 import tuner magazines at same time easily  ). CO2 cartridges are much easier to work with IMO but i don't want the gun to fall apart.
i just sold a co2 de i love it but need money its my fav airsoft gun its all in ur taste tho

Might be fun to plink with but DE's are a ridiculous gun to skirmish with. I ran with a DE my first CQB game like a noob. It was like swinging a brick around. Its not that they're so much heavier than other GBBs, but their so unwieldy, with all that weight out front.
Also, even green-gas DEs are a little too hot for close up shots, I was worried about hurting someone. If you clip someone in the face at fairly close, you will definitely draw blood on them. And that's just the green gas model. My CO2 sigma is to hot to bring out, even at the woodland fields, for my comfort.
