anyone else watching this documentary? very very well done and detailed down to the minute....tons of footage and info not yet before brought to light.

Are you talking about the one on the National Geographic Channel John? If so yes I watched it but I had alot of difficulty watching some parts due to me losing a close friend and former colleague who left California to later become an FDNY firefighter.

there's bad apples in every religion, race, culture, etc. and the group as a whole shouldn't be judged by the minority who want to get noticed....

Thats true, but I understand where Bills coming from, after watching (especaly if you lost someone in the attack) all pollitcs and outside events aside you just want to woop ass....pure and simple...seeing american citizens dieing in mass does that to me reguardless of the situation really. but god damn! no flame wars here lol pollitics aside this doc was very good and I would recommend it to anyone interested in a detailed account of 9/11

I remember talking to a guy...he was watching some show about the attack. He started telling me this whole conspiracy theory... he was sure the government planned the attacks and that the planes were actually tommahawk missles made up to look like planes....he said the towers were professionally demolished by engineers...

All it takes is a well respected religious leader (by his subjects) to say "Our god says..." and out come the lemmings. Faith is both a good and dangerous thing.

The towers came down so well because they were designed that way. The engineers designed the building to collapse on itself as opposed to falling over on the surrounding buildings (like in movies where skyscrapers knock each other over demolishing a city). They were actually also designed to withstand a 747 flying into them...just not the heat of the fuel burning. Had the planes fuel not ignited the towers would prob still be standing. I can't remember where i heard this (it was right after it happened) but i'm 95% sure its correct (unless i'm gravely mistaken :? ). I think its amazing that they could engineer a building so well that the design controls its distruction.

agreed, they are barbaric IMO

If by federal Power grab you mean the patriot act then your mistaken. That act took what the Feds are allowed to do when investigating the mob and apply it to domestic terrorists (letting them tap cell phones etc) and it all has to be aproved by a judge beforehand as with any wiretap or search warrant.

ya pretty impressive, im a architect but i cant even fathom the kinda math it takes for that kinda stuff.
