A lot of the less expensive li-po chargers require a 12V DC input. What do you use for a DC power source? Will a regular 12V wall adaptor work or do you need something beefier? It seems like most 12V adaptors only put out 500 - 1000 mA... Is that enough juice for fast charging?
Good question as i just picked up a Lipo charger the other day for my Heli and it only has dc power inputs. I would say that you need a AC to DC converter. Other wise you would have to connect it to a car battery to charge batteries. Oh and there is no fast charing a Lipo. Takes 1 hour no matter what. If you want to try fast charging one go right ahead, I wll bring over some marshmallows.
You can get a 12V power supply at Radio Shack or Fry's. 7 amps is plenty.

Hmm... A 12V wall adaptor usually costs around $10 - $15, but they only push an amp, maybe 1.5A for a big one.
Even with a 100+ charger (Electrifly Triton), it doesn't come with a 12vdc power supply.
Hey guys i have a 7 amp power supply for sale 25.00 pm if interested
