How to get 300fps?
Alrighty, lately a couple of indoor fields have opened up for airsoft use in the Bay Area. All of them require an FPS limit of 300fps. Both my G36 and MP5 are firing at about 320-330fps with .20's using an M100 spring... The only spring I can find under an M100 is an M85 and I don't want to go that low. I'd like some suggestions as to how to bring my FPS to <300 without using an M85 spring, LOL.
Ray's got the MOVES!
funny, short stroke, just like an engine, never thought of it that way...
next thing you know they are going to start advertising compression heights and porting the chambers to have a "swirl" effect just like the old vortec heads...(chevy for the mechanically ignorant)
300 fps? My G36, when it was bone stock out of the box, was shooting 295 fps with .20g. It shoots about 350 fps with an M100. For the MP5, a stock spring, bearing spring guide, air seal nozzle, and tightbore barrel should do the trick. My bone stock MP5 shoots around 270 fps.
Yeah! They have a Tornado piston! LOL

you could try using a different cylinder - a type 3 or 4
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.
Using a different piston was an idea, but I wonder how much it will affect ROF? I could'nt find and M90 spring, only an M85.......

how and how well do the TM velocity lowering goodys work?
JT has m90 springs. you could also try using those tm velocity reducers...the only thing with those is that they don't work 100% of your shots.
What's a signature?
