Hey I'm interested in your guys thoughts, if you had the money would you buy a brand new M249 Para Trooper or would you buy multiple guns for the price of the M249 or a really upgraded airsoft gun? ......Give me your thoughts and suggestions cause I can't really decide...

I would buy an AEG, upgrade it to what I liked, then put the rest of my money away for a M249. Which is actually what I'm doing now.
It depends upon what you really want in the long run. A machine gun is a big boy toy! If you want something that big then go for it. However if you want multiple AEG's instead you can get a feel for what you like and possibly sell the one's you do not like and either upgrade the one you do like or put the money toward a SAW.

yes same here i would buy an AEG and upgrade it and modifiy it to how i want.
I am guessing that no one here has used a M249 before. Well I have and I must say that you are all right on the choice to buy the AEG. 249 is to heavy to carry around all day. If you were going to just use it for a game or two that would be fine. The AEG is the best option for all around use. Thats my two bits.
yea but im use to carrying huge/heavy/long guns....so the m249 would be no strain on me..except for running.

249 is to bulky for me.....not sleek and sexy like an mg-42
