Getting tired of BlackOps pushing his games...
He doesn't really participate in the boards and all he does is repetitively post into his own game threads (which nobody really responds to, I might add) with fake enthusiasm and exaggerated claims. I checked Airsoftplayers.com, Airsoftforums.com, Airsoftcore.com, and ArniesAirsoft.co.uk, and there's no mention of their game. The only other forum that it's even posted into is AirsoftRetreat. This smells like a scam that took place on the east coast about 2 years ago, where someone was running a "huge game" that was supposed to be sponsored by Redwolf Airsoft. It ended up with about 30 or 40 people showing, and Redwolf not showing. Anyways, I sent BlackOps a pm...
Hey Kev,
Behold the Coolness That Is John
Well I just got a huge email regarding this. Whats going on now?
He pm'd me, so I responded to him...
Sorry, the scam wasn't involving Redwolf Airsoft. Got that one mixed up with something else. Here's a link to a thread about the scam that got pulled a couple years ago. The guy who pulled that one off, Chris Beale, did it to the Virginia Rangers too...
Just to keep things updated, I'm posting my full line of correspondence with this guy. He argues like a PR guy and fills his messages up with pathos. He dodges issues and tends to focus on the erroneous. I fail to believe he's just a "enthusiastic player." I think he's being paid to promote...
Just out of curiousity, did one of you guys delete this guy's original thread? I just saw his new one and they mention that all his previous information was gone. I took a look in the Non-Sacair Events Forum and did notice that they're not there anymore.
Well, I didn't delete it for sho.. that would cause too much shit as i have learned.
I did not delete. I was on last night when he began posting it again and noticed it was gone as well.

Yeah, He emailed me asking why I had removed it. I told him I didn't know who did.
I had a hunch as to why his post had beed removed. The Board itself did it.
Well i dont care how much *POOP* it may cause i delete threads all the time if i dont like them. i didnt know about this one till a few mins ago so i didnt delete it. I am not sure if he is getting a cut of the money or if he just really wants the game to happen becasue what they are asking up front is bs and they may not get enough people to play. I wouldnt pay 130 to attend my own event if i ever got un lazy and held one again. I could see charging like 10 to 20 and at are turn outs of 40 or 50 and we would just get some aegs and gbb and give them away at the end of the day. No admin is alowed to win but then that would cause us to have to get insurance and then it all becomes a huge circle jerk.
Steam Roller... Nothing Stands In The Way!!! :-)
I can just about 99.99999999% guarantee you that this guy is getting paid to sell the game. This guy is not in it for the "fun factor." I'll tell you what, if I wanted to win a Barrett, I sure as hell wouldn't attept to get a large turnout. That just lowers the odds of me winning. Like John and I were talking about... "paid promoter."
