So i thought i would share some of this with you guys because i thought it was pretty cool. My dad is in the California Army National Guard. He is/was currently a one star Brigadier General serveing over seas in Kosovo for a peace keeping mission. It was a multi nations deployment and he got to meet, greet, talk to, the whole nine yards with many foriegn nationals and many others. It was a great thing. Until one day he recieved a call from the Governors office in CA asking him to be the new Adjutant General of the California Army National Guard. My dad graciously accepted the offer and.....

Hey thanks a lot guys! Yeah it was a super fun experiance and im realy stoked for my dad, so proud of him. He has done a lot in the military and been very sucessful he deserves this in so many ways. Ferg...yeah going to college first :D then off to the fight :twisted:

omg dude that is sick. its hella sick to see you guys with the governor. you must be really proud. man consider youself lucky your dad is so prestigious. man i can still remember when we were little kids back when he was a colenol and watching him shine his boots...weird. time flies by so fast, it seems like yesterday we were in the backyard playing with army toys together...

Congrats on your fathers accomplishment, being a military member myself, making General or getting any promotion for that matter is a big deal.
