Actually no they dont. He didnt do anything stupid whatsoever. He did mod his gun to a scary new level. But he did not shoot at animals, humans, or rob a store. He did not portray our sport, our guns, or anything in a negative manner.

you don't think someone who doesn't know much about airsoft wont take this into the wrong light?

How could you take this the wrong way? Shooting someone, You can do that with a regular airsoft gun, Robbing a store, you can do that with a regular airsoft gun. Its not the person who made this video that would make us look bad. It be the people shooting other people irresponsibly, or robbing stores, and using improper gun control. And when that happens its not this mans fault for making this video because they can go out and buy a real gun which would be far worse.

I still think that if you mix the word airsoft with pictures of bbs going through drywall and metal plates people start questioning it.

Like what Neema said before, theres nothing illegal, wrong, or negitive about the video in terms to airsofter ( Stupid in terms of whats the point, yes) What gives Airsoft a bad name, are stupid people. One example is a ride along I did with my father on May 5th 2006 at night. Just after leaving a Hit and Run accident, we received a call of someone witnessing several men carrying Assualt Rifles in a appartment complets. The call went Code 3 (lights and siren) and all communication cleared for this event (for a supervisor). Upon Arrival, there were 4 officers, weapons drawn (two SIGs, one AR-15 and one MP5) along the street with another officer behind the complex in his cruzer. 20 minutes went by and with shouts of "GET DOWN" all 5 -teenagers-, ranging in ages of 11 to 16, where handcuffed, sitting on the curb waiting for they're parents to pick them up. The weapons were Clear Mp5 with orange tips. By the way, this is at night, and even though the weapons were clear plastic, people mistook the weapons for real steel.

ok, ok, so it doesn't really give airsoft a bad rap, but i still think it was stupid

Kids will be kids, lets just hope that him and his buddy dont decide to shoot each other for fun. I made that mistake when I was young, got a .177bb in the hip to this day as punishment. Never had anymore bb gun wars after that.... well, yes I have, but the bbs are different now, bigger, slower, lighter, non metallic. Kids will be kids.
