New CP report and pics

Sep 15, 2005 9:23pm
I went up to the new CP field at lunch time and took some pics. Its a nice field. About as large as the hill or NAM. It located behind a park, so paking is not a problem. The park also has bathrooms, picnic benches and BBQ pits, that could be usefull. Its about 1/2 mi walk from the park to the field. Gun will need to be covered while being trasported. I was able to explore about half the field and was very impressed.

Any chance of the public wandering back that far?

yah other people do use the land, like NAM.

Place looks perfect to play at, especially since it's on this side of Sac. Whats the adress of the park?

We have a lot of people living in Folsom/EDH so if this park works out, we have a lot less of a drive in order to play some serious airsoft which means less freakin gas money to spend getting out there. Maybe even some of the guys who live closer by Marysville would come out to this side to play, would definetly be interesting.

I left a message with EL dorado county PD informing them of the game and I shall do so again the morning of the game, hoepfully that will deal with any probs before they start. As far as I can tell this is public land.

Cool CP...I'll make it out next time. Can't do this weekend.

I did not have time to explore and see where it comes out, i will soon. If it leads to a main road, yes we could use it, it was very well matained.

If there is a chance that the public can go into that area, that's a big no-no for me. I mean, that's one of the concerns and all the commotion that the Elk Grove field had. A stray bb hitting somebody not wearing eye protection could cause lots of problems.

we see people at the NAM field somtimes, it not liek its in a hood where a passerby is going to catch a stray one in the face like elk grove.

The cops up here are really into the air soft stuff they just don’t allow us to play at schools otherwise they say as long as no one is complaining they don’t care obviously certain things do apply like if a cop shows up put your gun down but that is just common sense the cops up here are more interested in playing with our equipment rather than shutting us down I know just about all the sheriffs up here and if I don’t know them they know me and my family so we really have nothing to worry about plus if this doesn’t work out my family owns about 2000 acres in Latrobe which is just a little further away
