springers are acually really effective in CQB. The Yuba CQB site is really decent for springers, GBBs are best I think.. better than AEGs.

I've been wanting to take my Walther MPL springer out, but it's so nice and I don't have the heart to bring it out into the field.

I put a higher tension spring in my spring MP5 more then a year ago and have been using it semi religusly for backyard plinking and backwood skirmishes. I have no idea of how much of a power increase I got, but it's enought to be felt and it's still working smooth (with occational maintenence of cource).
Operational is when you get reports of gunfire in the area.
