Did anyone else see this on TV today at about 6:20 pm today? This planes landing gear was damaged with the front gear rotated 90 degrees. Apparently it was supposed to go from Burbank to JFK but made an emergency landing at LAX three hours after takeoff.
yah, i started watching it at 5:10 and i fell asleep and woke up around 6. went to my rooom, and fell asleep again. got up right as plane was above run way.

nice job to the pilot. I saw the footage, I also heard something about how he circled for 3hr to het rid of fuel. I think it was so that the plane didn't blow up if there was problications with the landing.
"As I walk throught the valley of the Shadow of Death I have no fear, because I am the meanest mutherf***er in the whole valley."
I would have Sh!t my pants if I was on that flight. Nice job by the pilot.
"And when he gets to Heaven To Saint Peter he will tell: One more soldier reporting, Sir -I've served my time in Hell."
JetBlue is a small airline that used only have east coast flights but now they're expending. They have a hub at Sac Intl., Oakland, obviously burbank and prob some others in CA. They're cheaper than the other airlines and have bigger seats. I think i heard they keep the costs down by only hiring non union workers. I've never flown with them but everyoen i know who has has loved it.

Kudos to the 2 pilots of Flight 292!! That took alot to keep their composure and it took alot of skill to not bury the nose of that bird in the dirt or even worse possibly. Glad everyone was not hurt though.
at least a comendation of some sort from the FAA or president or whoever would bestow an honor like that on a comercial pilot
