hey, got my gun back from a friend and the motor was making a really high pitched spinning on nothing sound...and when i had the fuse in, it made it bright orange when i pulled the trigger now because i pulled the trigger once...its burnt out...so when i take the fuse connectors and put it together, it makes that noise,,,i dont know whats up, but if any of my problems can be answered, it will be great help...
does it sound like the gears are spining or is it just the motor?
yes yes yes, i was teh eveil friend who used the m15. it was shooting perfect at a game i was at. then at end of game was emptying a mag and the motor sounded like it was gonna blow, a really high pitch sound. dont think gear broke, cause i put a different gearbox in and it did same thing. could be ther gear inside motor not catching main one and just spinning inside.
[quote="Amateur Ninja"]obviously you dont know him.
is the set screw still in the bottom plate of the pistol grig?
yes, we have tried(me and mike) to put the screw both up and down...now its almost out of the gun and making the noise...when i put the screw in any farther, it will screw up and make an even more weird sound...
If the set screw backed off while playing, and you kept using it long enough. Then you may have ruined the pinion gear on the motor. And if you continue to mess with it just to here the high pitched noise it's making. You might have ruin the bevel gear (beaver gear) also. If you haven't already.
