a new motor costs half as much as the gun lol

the point is that if you want to play, you can play for 100 bucks. if you want to upgrade, thats your prerogative, but as a base gun, thats insanely cheap. the src sounds nice, but has anyone skirmished with one yet?
A 7.62mm, 178 grain bullet travels at a velocity of 2600 fps and has 2,520 foot-pounds of kinetic energy, which is enough to penetrate through 9 soft-target personnel...

and the fact that no matter how much you upgrade, you will always save more money than if you bought a reguler TM model because of the lower initial cost of the gun. so its a good idea either way.

With these new knock off guns coming out, it could be good and it could be bad for the sport. Only time will tell.

The SRC are made by KJW from the information I've been able to gather. As for TM going under...don't count on it. Airsoft is just 1 division of TM and if nothing else they still have their primary market which is Japan

they make so many guns, they have the market cornered in so many areas, it'll be hard to bring them down. not saying it wont happen though.

they do alot of RC stuff. 1/24 scale RC bb shooting tanks. The little tiny palm racers that have already been knocked off by china and flooded into the US before TM could get their stuff here. I believe they also did die cast and plastic models and toys, but that's would be some of their really old old stuff. They pretty much conceded the modeling to Tamiya. though.

OH my god. I can't believe what you get for the price. If they were only metal. Hell I might just order one anyway?
