what is your guys experences with aex's aeg upgrades? im looking to get a standard metal bushing and spring 350 upgrade.

Amazing! I have had AEX do some work on my MP5, and I am nothing but happy with their work.

i would rather try to upgrade my gun myself than pay 50 dollars

Some of us just like to do the work ourselves. If I do the work and eff it up then Ill take it to aex. I take pride in my stuff and a good part of that pride is knowing that I did the work to it.
In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.

and i could probably do the FPS upgrade...if richie cant do the other stuff, i can do that stuff easily also.
