does anyone know if m16a2 handguards will fit on an m16a1? i would assume it would exept for the triangular piece behind the front aimpoint. if u dont know what im talking about here aer soem pictures

yes they will. Most M16a2s actualy have M16a1 refinished upper recievers. They actualy make a a2 handguard that the front tab is triangler for this exact reason. I will see if I can find any

the CA ones use the triangle front ring too.
