Walmart finally carries one good airsoft gun...
It's the Crossman Air Mag P50. If you need a good reliable gas pistol that works, this is the one to get. Although Crossman states that it retails for $59.99, I got mine last night for around $39.99 or so. (Bought it as a novelty to try out.) It uses 12 gram CO2 cartridges, chrono's around 295-320 fps with .20g bb's and is a non-blowback. One CO2 cartridge gets around 80-100 shots out of the gun. The magazine holds 17 shots. It will fire double action with a trigger pull, or the hammer can be pulled back for a single action shot. Here's a link to some news on it...

Plastic is pretty strong against internal pressure for the quarter second that it exists. It only starts to break when it's slapping hard back and forth like in a GBB. Even then they don't break immediately usually. Unlike my friend's KJW metal gbb which blew up. Many people have this hardon for metal thinking it's better but plastic especially ABS and the more advanced polymers are pretty strong while being light. The Famas series even though being Marui's first AEG is still going pretty strong for many people even though it's almost entirely plastic. My friend's Famas F1 still runs and works flawlessly. As is my glock 18c of a year and a half.

Kevin, how quiet is it? My CO2 GBB makes a helluva racket, but mostly due the the racking of the slide. One of the advantages of a NBB is that they can be super quiet, but I'm wondering if CO2 as a propellant negates that.

hey neouser ive seen that airsoft pistol before but dose it take like a mag or do you have to load one of those round clip things? btw hows the range on it? i might pick one up just for the hell of it if they are only 40$

Well I just found out that the Elk Grove store is the only one that carries it. Why the hell can't Walmart have good service. It took me 2 hours to get one damn phone number!!!! :evil: You think the gun will last for a good while? Like more than 2 months.

hey neo, i bought one of those about a month ago. i was thinking *wow, 350 fps CO2 gun by crosman, great* (i think crosman makes great plinkers). anyways, i returned it the next day. i had no luck with it. when screwing in the co2, almost all of it leaked out (gotta do it really fast). also, it jammed, shot burst fire, and sometimes bb's would just roll out of the barrel. sounds like yours works quit well. i shot maybe about 3 good shots with it, and they did not seem to be going 350 fps. anyways, it sounds like yours works a whole lot better. good luck....
