You might want to check the piston. It is usualy the first to go and it can hang your gears.

no the battery and motor work just fine , the gears can turn a tiny bit but it wont shoot, i think it is the piston........what color is the piston and how much does a new one cost?

If it isn't your battery the problem may be that you broke your tappet plate, and the back part is stuck in your spring. I just fixed a gun with that issue, and recommend that you open the box to make sure that there is nothing broke. But by all means try the battery first, always go with the most simple solution before trying out the hard ones.

If you upgraded the spring try I larger Size bat. I spent forever trying to fix a box, (I have done a lot of them) an it was indeed the battery. The small bats all worked but wouldn't push the spring. Now the exact same set in a G3 works perfect with the small bats (don't know why)

hmm, well the gun isnt upgraded and i have a large type 9.6v battery....still not good enough to run it?

That batt should push it, there is something wrong internally. Either open it up and fix the problem, or if you don't feel like you can as a friend, or go to Norca, he fixes gun.

would the norca guy charge for labor? cuz i know he fucks us over on gun prices.

If you don't want to get charged to have something done for you, either do it yourself, then take it in after you screw it up; or get a friend who knows how to fix airsoft guns to do it. Otherwise, buck up and pay the money to get it fixed.
