SRC M4 Tactical Carbine

Ok, so last night, I had a chance to crack open one of these and check it out. All-in-all, if you're on a limited budget, this is a good platform to build off of.

Dang. Sorry, dude. I didn't think about it at the time. Honestly, it looks like the inside of every other V2 gearbox. (Well, every other reinforced version anyways.)

hey neo, how s the wiring kit on that gun is it good enough to buy for 20 bucks at jungle toy or should i just make my own. thinking about redoing my wiring for my m4 or just buying a kit.

The wiring's not bad. It didn't stand out to me in any way. It uses the stiffer wire with thinner insulation like the TM does. Makes it really easy to arrange around the motor in the handgrip.

which is a better first aeg for someone, this gun or the UTG mp5? also do you have any idea when UTG will be coming out with more aeg's, i heard they were gonna make an AK

UTG MP5 is a better starter gun. It comes with more and costs less. It also seems less problematic out of the box. Then again, like I said, I'm not sure if this one was opened up before or not. If this is how they come right out of the box, I would not recommend it for the beginner.

Just found out today. The gun worked fine out of the box. It was opened up before it was given to me to work on. So yeah, you can safely buy an SRC without worries.

seeing how you own the gun...would u say its worth it to buy...are there too many flaws to it and does it not feel authentic at all or is it a good buy

Call me a total noob but i managed to break an upgraded M4A2 R.I.S. in my first fight. Adrenalin does some interesting things including allowing one to rip the bolt clean out of the receiver housing whilst attempting to reload under fire. Finishing that fight with my sidearm wasn't too fun. Now while reading this post i noticed the initial poster mentioned that they repaired guns. I'm attending Operation Iron Claws this year and would like to find a place to get the gun repaired before then (i have two others so its not intensely critical). I live in Napa California and i was wondering if either the afore mentioned poster could repair the gun for me, or if they knew someone who could do it for me. I'm more than willing to pay shipping and handling and all the appropriate fees. I just want to make sure that I'm getting someone trustworthy and that ill get the gun back :P. If anyone has an idea let me know. thanks.
