Oops... Charger

I accidently plugged the battery in after I plugged in the charger to the wall... the connecters sparked a bit but it still seems to be charging... did I hurt anything? Could this shorten battery life?

With all of the R/C stuff I used to do, that is the way I did it. Plus, whenever you plug anything into the wall, there is usually an arc.

I don't think that means anything really. That happens to me all the time and my batteries/battery charger still work fine.
