My brother is looking to get into airsoft, and is interested in buying a M4, my question is
M4a1 sufficient for outdoor use?

350 upgrade will do, the barrel is sufficent with hop up, i wouldnt reccomend go over 350

350 is all you need.... M100, bushings and a tightbore. keeps your rate of fire higher.... sick of all these ppl NEEDING 400fps and they are newbs

Yea i have a M4 RIS with a 350 fps upgrade(m100) and metal buschings, and it works great. It keeps that eg1000 worth its ROF and it gives me great fire power and range still. i dont have a tight bore barrel on it and it still has great range and accuracy.

Id have to go with PBB, all these newbies needed overkill and everything, uh yes the m16 shoots just over the m4 a few more feet maybe less, it is a great weapon to have i love my CA to death, and am very please with it thus far.

EG1000 has lower ROF than a EG700, but it has more torque than a 700.
