I have a 9.6V 1700mah Nimh battery for my m733. 1 problem, how do u charge the dayam thing! I know that they are very sensitive to heat put i'm doin somthin wrong here. i put it on the charger for 15 min....it gets very hot, so i take it off, fire three shots and its dead!! do i just let it cool down then put it back on or what?
Sounds like there's a dead cell. What kind of spring is in the gun?? How many amps are you charging at??

this battery is brand new, i got it in the mail and it has sat in my room for about 3 months or so....
Does your charger specify it's for both types of cells? NiMah cells need to be charged at a lower amperage than NiCad's.
That charger sucks ass, get a new one. Thats probably your problem. You can have a fan blowing on you battery to keep it cool as it charges. have fun!
Oh, I didn't catch the NiMH part on your first post. I'm pretty sure the battery is dead. NiMh's need to be maintained with a charge if they aren't going to be used for about a month, and you went 3. They loose their "umph" (like they really have any to begin with).
