Hey bud if you are interested...
Chances are you are going to have range problems aswell as reliabilty issues. however for a first time it might be ok. Don't expect those guns to last very long but then if you dont like the sport you arnt in for a few grand. a good rule is to stick with Tokyo Marui guns and you will be fine they are decent price and some of the best guns out
If you like the mp5, but need some thing more economical than the TM one, I'd recomend the one from UTG. It costs a lot less and is pritty good. A friend of mine got one last thursday and has zero complaints. It has a V2 gearbox and can be upgraded with most quality airsoft parts. Also can use the TM mags.

chances are those guns are rip offs that won't last long.I have a tokyo marui for sale if your on the market.

the jp-916 is a chinese rifle that is supposed to sell because it looks pretty. it probably will shoot around 200-240 with a .12 bb. not very good, but thats just me. be careful with what you buy  .
Yeah Iââ¬â¢m looking at Classic Army Rifles and KWA Pistols if I decide I really like airsoft. It sounds fun but I donââ¬â¢t want to put the money out then not like it so I went with cheep stuff first. Also what do you all think of ICS guns? Iââ¬â¢ve gone to AEX and looked at what they have and Iââ¬â¢m looking at a CA MP5SD6 or a CA M15A4 Carbine I havenââ¬â¢t really made my mind up about the pistol yet.
CA's are good guns to start with. But please stay away from ICS and UTG's. Unless you plan on never upgrading or somehow you know it will never break on you.

If you want a ICS M4 I have one barely used. uprgraded to 400 fps with a battery original box and manuals 2 high cap mags and a mag clamp I will let go for say $300. I like the Tokyo Marui and Classic army guns. I bought this when hey first came out to compare. for the price of them new they arnt worth it but $300 is not bad.
Oh and I have a few KWA M9s they work great. I have never had issue with them and they have been under water alot.
hey, i live in davis and go to the highschool. so if you live close by, maybe we could meet up some time.
$hit happens when you party naked
Thanks for the feedback on the ICS guns i'm leaning more towards the CA's. duffman5 sure we could meet up some time the only days i'm off right now are fri, sat, & sun. i'm a firefighter for the state and work 24hrs shifts mon. through thur. in mendocino county.
yea dont buy airsoft guns off ebay. my freind bought a gun off of there and it took 3 months to get to his house and when he opened it up it was in like 20 different peices.
if you try to fail but you suceed which do you do?
Hey I would not sell e-bay short. I happen to have bought my AEG, a used P-90 TR, and it works just fine.

thats just my opinion other people might have had good experiences buying guns there.

Generally Ebay stores are sketchy for airsoft guns, so I'd put more stock in the individuals selling their guns because they'r getting out of airsoft. How ever if you don't feel like gambling, I would suggest sticking to the AEX, Redwolf, or Precision airsoft.

E-bay has always scared me because they can STILL rip you off. Like online escrow services there really isn't any garuntee. While whole companies are usually in one spot in for the long haul so they risk that their image and even lawsuits their way if they don't comply with a sale. A person on ebay can post something a week before he moves under false info on a dummy account get the money then just leave when it's time and never be worried.
I know there is an agency that's supposed to deal with that sort of thing, I just can't remmember which one. :? Any way, I did say "if you feel like gammbling" didn't I?
