i have an ics m4, but it sucks because i have to make sure that every thig is compatable with it. i was wondering if anyone knew if i could drop an ics gearbox into a classic army body, because i want to keep ics's split gearbox design because it is so much easier to work on. Any one know, and if it is compatable, anyone have a ca metal body the wish to sell?

Adam(redleg) didi the opposite. he put a CA gearbox in his ICS. it took a chit load of dremeling to make it fit........i think the ICS box will be a little loosie goosie in the ca body but IDK..........
could i possibly slide in some dynamat to silence/make it fit better?
what the prblem would be is that the CA metal bodies dont hinge up like the ics one does...you have to slide the whole top forward, then u can see the gearbox...it wont work...you could try a TM platis body, or maybe stoner might hinge up in the front...call or pm ronnie, he could tell you hopefully if the metal bodies other then CA hinge or not.
