Airsoft Atlanta

Oct 24, 2005 5:35am
Anyone have any experience with Airsoft Atlanta? I'd like to make them my primary source for accessories and parts since shipping is cheaper and they have a good list of parts. I can obtain AEGs from Redwolf cheaper than them INCLUDING shipping but their acessories and parts are about the same. I don't know though if they are reliable and whatn ot since the only thing I have ordered from them was the cheaper intellicharger (I know you get what you pay for but I was broke and needed a charger/discharger.) I ordered it but due to the magic of their website not beiing TRULY dynamic to their stock the item went out of stock but the charge still went through. So I'm pretty iffy on them so far but have heard many others offer praise for them. Any input is appreciated and I'm sure I'm probably going to get flaimed for this one but all well. Thx in advance for any input. :)

I need something local and reliable as well. So far as foreign goes I love Redwolf airsoft and their up there on top of my list as one of the best companies. I was hoping for a U.S. based company that's reliable though to make things easier in general. Especially since U.S. companies usually run mostly actual credit card transactions through verisign and a bank which makes things easier and more convenient than trying to use paypal. I hate paypal and don't like using it which is one of the only reasons why I haven't ordered from uncompany or den yet.

in the long run paypal is awsome,..you just have to get used to it.....

Don't need actual parts now. But I do like to cover my bases in the future. Another definate plus is that since they are U.S. based. They don't deliver then I can legally get my money back or get legal action to remove their business license or other legal recourses while from a foreign source all I would really get out of them if I get ripped off is a laugh and a better luck next time. So far I have had better experiences off shore than continental but that extra bit of security is nice. I also live in socal with a bit of a long drive from definately Sac AEX or their San Diego branch.

I would go with AEX with online purchases but filling out a waver and faxing it with every order is a pain since I don't have a fax machine nor a functional printer.

I loathe Redwolf. My favorite overseas sites are UNCompany, Dentrinity or WGCshop, depending on what I'm buying. Guns will always come from UNCompany. Accessories are torn between Dentrinity and WGCshop.

Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.

Living here in Atlanta I have been in thier store severial times. Very knowledgable staff, quick to answer questions and took a lot of time with me as I was getting into the sport. I have not had to have my stuff worked on by them yet but thier shop is also top notch. Just about everyone here in the atlanta area uses them with alomst no complaints.

I have had an extremely bad history with Airsoft Atlanta. They have horrible customer service. I live near them and it was not just a "one time thing". They have screwed me over and over again on things and it is not worth it. Some people think the Airsoft Atlanta staff are knowledgeable, but that is because the few that think that Airsoft Atlanta know alot don't know much. They cannot answer half of the questions I ask them. If you try calling them, 90% of the time you will get the answering machine, not because they are busy, but because they don't feel like answering it. I would highly reccomend not ordering from Airsoft Atlanta, and would even further more support not having your gun upgraded by them.

If you can do buisness with AEX I would. Find a fax or a printer it is worth it. Alot of us on this site personaly know Mickey the owner of AEX. He and his staff play with us every month and are all good people who are knowlegable and have always taken care of the stuff they told me they would. I have a few guns that hey have built that came with a warenty and yes they have broke but they have always been fixed no questions asked. I think it is worth finding a fax machine to do buisness with this company.
