ok i'm thinkin about gettin a UTG MP5, but i want an SD version. so what modifications are necessary to make an A5 into a SD6, or is it impossible? is it just the cocking tube that needs to be changed or is it simpler? any help is great
i just took apart my TM MP5 SD6 the other night, and it is just swapping out the front tube, from what i saw. it shouldt offer you too much difficulty, if you still want the collapsible stock, the wiring will be the same. the only problem is battery life, there are no large batteries that will fit the a version forgrip well. so if you want to upgrade the gun at all, change it to a full stock. or find a ris and peq box, dont know how well it would look however.
The 4 rules of gun safety:
once you confirm that the parts are interchangable, this would be something to consider.
you can make a batter pack that is 9.6v with AA sized cells that can hold 1400-1700mah which is enough for about a full day of playing

1up. metal rules. plastic is for nerf and super soakers.
And shephards we will be.
they have the complete front SD part at AEX in the middle case...i was bored, looked around, and saw that once,...if they didnt sell it, i would go with that...i would guess they have a metal cocking tube on there.
